First, I'm going to do copy a great youtuber ( yes Mark, I'm talking about you) soooo : Look at yourself in the mirror... Do you see it? YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL !
That said and done, Welcome to the new series "What's on my bookshelves"!!! Like I said before, I'm going to talk about books every first thursday of the month. "Why books?" you may ask... well, books are just one of the biggest parts of my life ( right next to music and my family & friends ).
A lot of my friends are big readers too and sometimes, when we see each other, we talk about the good books we've read in the weeks we didn't see each other... So, I may have +- 8 bookshelves filled with stories about dragons to the latest Santa Montefiore, I've probably read 5 times more books than I have on those shelves...
But without further ado , here are the books that are on the first two shelves of one of the two bookshelves that are in my room.

First shelf ( Top shelf)
I may be a big fan of (very big) books but on my first ( top) shelve is my collection of "Spike and Suzy" :D I'm really proud of this collection!!! It's sth I started reading when I was really young and I still love the characters and the stories they fall into. Another reason I still love reading them is because they were the favorite comics of my grandpa ( may he rest in peace L ) and we always read them together....
Second shelf
Harry Potter Series :D Yeah, I don't think this will shock someone.. These are the books I loved reading as a child, also the first books that my parents started reading to me when I was 3 years old ( after they read the stories of the Brothers Grimm and stuff like that to me). They are still the books I love the most. Man, I still remember the day I ended the 7th book... I cried because it was over. They were just so good and I was, NO, I AM a potterhead with all my heart.
Twilight Series + the short second life of Bree Tanner I don't know why they are on that second shelve too but I think it's because I really liked the story ( okay, I have to admit, the second book was a bit boring but the story is great and very well written.)
Mortal Instruments : City of Bones At first, I wasn't a big fan of the Mortal Instruments but maybe it's because I saw the movie before I read the books .. but a friend of mine pushed me to read them again and I must say, I was hooked (and I read them in the weirdest order EVER ( 1-5-4-3-2-6) but hey, that's me XD ... The movie is a whole different story. At first I didn't quite understand it because I hadn't read the books but after reading them I didn't like the movie that much... And then I discovered the reason. Jamie (Campbell Bower) as Jace is just not working for me... I started a conversation with a friend of mine who love the books too about who could play Jace instead of Jamie for the TV Series.. and we came up with quite a lot actors ( we actually just went through the list of blonde actors and some others XD) to replace him (and some other actors too) :

Owen Wilson - Again, to old
Jack Gleeson - ( but not that good cause " LOOK JOFFREY!!!")

Hoi allemaal!!!
Voor ik begin aan de blogpost van deze week, even een zalige youtuber kopiëren ( Ja ik ben bezig over de enige echte Mark Ferris ;) ) Dus, kijk even naar jezelf in de spiegel.... Zie je het? JE ZIET ER PRACHTIG UIT!!!
Dat gezegd zijnde, welkom bij een nieuwe serie "Wat staat er in mijn boekenkast"!!! Zoals ik al eerder zei, iedere eerste donderdag van de maand zal over boeken gaan. "Waarom boeken?" zie ik je al denken... wel, boeken zijn één van de belangrijkste dingen in mijn leven ( samen met muziek, familie en vrienden).
Veel van mijn vrienden lezen ook zeer veel en wanneer we elkaar zien gaat het nogal vaak over de boeken die we gelezen hebben in de weken dat we elkaar niet zagen... Ik heb misschien +- 8 boekenkasten gevuld met verhalen over draken tot het laatste boek van Santa Montefiore, ik heb ( zonder enige twijfel) zeker 5 keer meer boeken gelezen dan ik er staan heb.
Zonder nog uren verder te zeveren, hier zijn de boeken die op de eerste 2 schappen staan van één van de twee boekenkasten die in mijn kamer staan.

Eerste plank ( bovenste)
Ik ben misschien een fan van (zeer dikke) boeken maar op mijn eerste ( bovenste) plank staan mijn collectie van "Suske en Wiske" :D Ik ben zeer trots op die collectie!!!! Het zijn de verhalen die ik begon te lezen toen ik nog zeer jong was en ik ben nog altijd weg van de personages en de verhalen die ze meemaken. Een andere reden dat ik ze nog altijd graag lees is het feit dat het de favoriete strips van mijn opa zaliger waren en we ze altijd samen lazen...
Tweede plank
Harry Potter reeks :D Ja, ik denk niet dat dit iemand zal verbazen... Het zijn de boeken die ik zeer graag las als een kind, tevens ook de boeken die mijn ouders ( na al de sprookjes van Grimm enzo) voorlazen toen ik een jaar of 3 was. Het is nog altijd mijn meest favoriete reeks. Ik herinner mij nog altijd de dag dat ik boek 7 uitlas... Ik heb geweend omdat het gedaan was :'( . Ze waren gewoon zooooo goed en ik was... NEE, IK BEN nog altijd een rasechte potterhead!
Twilight reeks + het korte tweede leven van Bree Tanner Ik weet niet goed waarom ze eigenlijk nog op mijn tweede plank staan maar het is waarschijnlijk omdat ik toen het verhaal zeer goed vond. ( ok, ik geef toe, het tweede boek is gewoon saai maar het is en blijft een goed verhaal en zeer goed geschreven)
Mortal Instruments : Stad van Beenderen Ik was eerst geen grote fan van The Mortal Instruments maar dat kwam misschien omdat ik eerst de film had gezien en dan pas het boek had gelezen.. Een vriendin van me dwong ( groot woord maar het was echt zo :p ) me om ze opnieuw te lezen en ik was verslaafd... ik heb ze echt in de vreemdste volgorde ooit gelezen ( 1-5-4-3-2-6) maar : C'est Moi :p ... De film was een ander verhaal... Ik was de eerste keer niet helemaal mee met het verhaal maar nadat ik de boeken had gelezen vond ik hem niet zo goed meer.... En dan had ik opeens door waarom ik het geen goede film vond. Jamie ( Campbell Bower) als Jace klopt gewoon niet voor mij... Ik begon te kletsen met een vriendin ( die ook verslaafd was aan de serie) over acteurs dies beter geschikt zijn om Jace te spelen in de serie die er zit aan te komen.... en ik moet toegeven, we hebben er een pak gevonden ( we hebben eerlijk gezegd gewoon de lijst met blonde acteurs overlopen en enkele andere erbij gehaald XD) om hem te vervangen ( en enkele andere acteurs ook) :
