Hy guys! I'm currently in France and I thought this would be a great time to write a blogpost about my favorite places here. It's my 19th year here so I probably can tell if something is good or not.
So, without further ado, here are my favorite places in The Provence!
1) (Le) Roma : Restaurant, Salon de thé & Artisan Glacier
You can probably guess it but ICE CREAM is a must in The Provence! Especially the ice cream you can buy at Roma. It can be a bit overpriced for some of you but it's totally worth it! They have a lot of different flavors from the normal vanilla and chocolate to lavender and Fleur de Lys(Lily)

2) L'olivier
L'olivier is a restaurant and pizza TakeAway in one. Besides the great pizza they have a lot of local dishes like duck and bull. The price isn't high. Especially when you would buy the same meal at any other place.

3) Le Relais de Costebelle
When I was younger we used to go to Tarascon for our dinner every night. When that closed we searched for a new place and we found one on the same route to our old restaurant. The chef and his wife became close friends but a few years ago the chef passed away and she left the restaurant. We went back a few times but it isn't the same (read = very good food for a very small price) anymore. Shame! But I'm not going to say that you shouldn't go. It's good but it's just not our home anymore. The price is okay still but it won't be the same like it was in 2011

4) Le Moulin Saint Bernard
For those who want to celebrate something, this is one of the two places I would go. The fish soup is very good. But actually, everything is good there. The price isn't that high but it's higher than in the places I already talked about.

5) L'Oustalet Maïanen
The second place I would go to eat if I had to celebrate something. Unlike the other one (Le Moulin) I would go here just once for a very special ocassion. The price is higher than any of the other ones (still just 40€ /menu XD) I've talked about but man, the food is AMAZING. Even the location is very nice and quiet.

6) Un Bouchon en Provence
I just went here last week and I have to say, I was impressed. The food was good (don't ask for fries if that's possible... I don't know what their deal is but those aren't fries.). But what really stunned me was their Tiramisu with Red Fruit, just one word ; WOW. The place is located in the middle of the town so you don't have a lot of parking space if there's something going on in one of the cafés.

Mijn favoriete plaatsen om te eten in en rond Maillane
(Provence).
Hoi allemaal! Ik ben op dit moment in Frankrijk dus ik dacht
dat dit een perfect moment was om een blogpost te schrijven over mijn favoriete
plaatsen hier. Het is mijn 19de jaar hier dus ik kan waarschijnlijk wel zeggen
of iets goed is of niet.
Swat, zonder verdere zever, hier zijn mijn favoriete plekjes
in de Provence!
1) (Le) Roma : Restaurant, Salon de thé & Artisan Glacier
Je kan het waarschijnlijk al raden maar IJSJES zijn een must
in de Provence! En dan zeker het ijs dat je kan kopen bij Roma. Het kan wat
prijzig zijn voor sommige maar het is het zeker waard. Ze bieden verschillende
smaken van het normale vanille en chocolade tot lavendel en Fleur de Lys
(lelie)

L'olivier is een restaurant en pizza afhaal plaats in een.
Naast de lekkere pizza hebben ze ook veel lokale gerechten zoals eend en stier.
De prijs is niet te hoog. Zeker niet vergeleken met andere plaatsten waar je
hetzelfde kan eten.

3) Le Relais de Costebelle
Toen ik jong was gingen we iedere avond eten in Tarascon.
Wanneer dat restaurant sloot zochten we een nieuwe plaats om te eten en vonden
die ook op dezelfde weg die we normaal namen. De kok en zijn vrouw werden goede
vrinden maar een paar jaar terug is de kok gestorven en heeft zij het
restaurant verlaten. We zijn een paar keer teruggekeerd maar het was gewoon
hetzelfde niet meer (lees= zeer lekker eten voor een zeer kleine prijs). Zonde!
Maar dit betekent niet dat je niet moet gaan. Het eten is lekker maar het is
gewoon onze thuis niet meer. De prijs is oké maar het is gewoon hetzelfde niet
meer zoals in 2011.

Voor diegene die iets te vieren hebben, dit is een van de
twee plaatsen die ik zou aanraden om te gaan. De vissoep is zeer lekker. Maar
eigenlijk is alles gewoon goed daar. De prijs is niet te hoog maar hoger dan de
drie vorige plaatsen waar ik het over had.

nota: Het restaurant is verkocht en overgenomen, we zijn er
nog niet geweest.
De tweede locatie die ik aanraad om naartoe te gaan wanneer
je iets te vieren hebt. In tegenstelling tot de vorige plaats zou ik hier enkel
gaan wanneer het echt een speciale gelegenheid is. De prijs is ook hoger dan
enig ander (nochtans nog altijd maar 40€/ menu XD) waar ik het over had maar
mannekes, het eten is zeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer lekker. Zelfs de locatie is
gezellig en stil.

6) Un Bouchon en Provence
Hier ben ik nog maar vorige week geweest. En ik moet zeggen,
ik was verrast. Het eten was lekker(vraag niet achter frietjes als dat mogelijk
is... ik weet niet wat ze er mee willen bereiken maar dat zijn gewoon geen
frieten.) . Maar wat mij echt compleet van mijn sokken blies is de Tiramisu met
rood fruit, een woord : WOW. Het restaurant bevind zicht in het midden van het
stadje dus je hebt niet zoveel plaats om te parkeren als er iets anders te doen
is in de buurt.

Ziezo, dat waren mijn favorieten plaatsen in de Provence om
te eten.
